If you’re gathering sweet treats for all those near and dear to you this Valentine’s Day, check out Chouquette Chocolates & Confections! The owner, Sarah Dwyer, says she was born to make chocolate-covered caramels. She left the corporate world and took a little sabbatical in Europe and tasted all the chocolate covered caramels and learned the craft. She came back and decided to open her own chocolate shop, and so Chouquette Chocolates & Confections was born. They make decadent chocolates with only the highest quality ingredients available including cacao from South & Central America, real vanilla bean, salt from the south of France, and each design on the chocolates you see is screen printed with cocoa butter.

All chocolates are handmade to order, so it will take a little planning on your part. Orders take 3-5 days to ship or you can do 48-hour in-person pickup at their Gaithersburg shop. You’ll need to order by February 5th for Valentine’s Day chocolates to arrive if you’re not picking up in person. So, there’s no time to waste, go buy some chocolates!
