The Pumpkin Festival at Butler’s Orchard, located on Davis Mill Road in Germantown, takes place at the 300-acre family-focused farm with pick-your-own patches, hayrides, a kid’s play area, a market, and a cafe that serves fresh apple cider. The family-run affair is just 45 minutes from downtown Washington DC and offers festival fun of straw and corn mazes, tractor pull, hayrides, pony rides, slides, a pumpkin cannon, and more!
Established in 1950, Butler’s Orchard has served the Germantown area for more than 70 years and offered their Pumpkin Festival for more than 30 years. Want to pick your own pumpkins? For $0.69 per pound, you can leave with pumpkins of your own to decorate your space.
The festival runs Wednesday through Friday 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday, and Columbus Day 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October 31, and reservations are strongly encouraged.
