Sarah Park never set out to start a small business. In fact, she’d just retired in 2018 when she decided to return to an old hobby—making ice cream for her friends and family. That’s all it was, a hobby, at first. But it wasn’t long before word spread about the delicious artisan ice creams she was creating, eventually beyond the confines of her friends and family. Total strangers started calling up Sarah asking to place an order. So after some coaxing, and with her daughter Annie by her side, Sarah indulged her growing fan base and opened Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream & Treats.
Sarah and Annie remain true to that original vision of crafting high-quality, creative ice creams by using locally sourced and all-natural ingredients to make small batches. Sarah constantly updates the menu to reflect the current season, allowing for even easier sourcing of local ingredients. The menu this summer contains standard flavors like Oreo Lover and Salted Caramel alongside warm-weather options such as Summer Peach Melba, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Pink Lemonade Sorbet.
