It’s been more than 20 years since the first Garden of Lights at Brookside Gardens launched and the holiday tradition is still holding strong. It’s back for the season, illuminating the local greenspace with more than a million lights to bring the cheer! You have until January 2nd to come and check out the decked-out outdoor space.
Head to the Eventbrite page to grab a timed ticket for your chosen date. These reservations allow the organizers to make sure there’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out and safely enjoy the event. In honor of the setting, the theme for Garden of Lights is always Mother Earth. You might see a towering giraffe and a behemoth dragon constructed entirely of strands of lights or blooming flowers and mushrooms set ablaze by the holiday bulbs. Of course, the gardens’ many trees will be swathed in bright light, as well! Special effects like fog and bubbles serve to augment the holiday light display, which stretches across all 50 acres at Brookside Gardens. Tickets are $10 per guest.
